Q1: How many solar panels can l use at the same time with F2400?
A: It depends on the total voltage and watts of solar panels you choose. F2400 supports solar panels with maximum of 500W, 50V in voltage. So with 200W solar panels, 2 solar panels are recommended.
-
Q2: Can I use two different wattage solar panels to charge the power station?
A: (Such as 100W and 200W solar panel charging the F2400)
1. It cannot. Please use the same parameters of solar panels to charge the power station. It must be same wattage and same voltage.
2. The 100W solar panel voltage is normally 12V, and the 200W solar panel voltage is normally 18V. Mixing the two would cause the high voltage to flow back to the low voltage, which will damage the circuit and cause damage to the solar panels and power station. -
Q3: What's the max input for F2400?
A: For F2400, you can charge it at standard wall outlets (1100W max), or by solar panels(500W max), combine AC and solar charging to reach max 1600W charging speeds.
-
Q4: What's the water-resistance rating for this product?
A: F2400 offers daily life water-resistance for DC and USB ports, we designed rubber plug for these ports for life water-splash proof or light rain. Please keep it away from liquids as it is not IP68 water-proof.
-
Q5: Does F2400 support battery expansion?
A: Not, F2400 is a single unit.
-
Q6: What kind of solar panels should l choose for F2400?
A: PV input requirements for F2400:
Work Voltage: 11.5-50V
Input Power: 500W Max.
Include MC4 connectors. -
Q7: How long can the F2400 be fully charged by AC charge?
A: By 1100W AC charge: 2H
By 900W AC charge: 2H 40min
By 700W AC charge: 3H 20min
By 500W AC charge: 4H 30min
By 300W AC charge: 7H -
Q8: How long can the F2400 be fully charged by solar panels?
A: By 500W solar panels, fully charged within 4 hours
-
Q9: How long can the F2400 be fully charged by AC+ solar panels?
A: 1100W AC charge+500W solar panels: 1.5 Hours
-
Q10: How soon will the F2400 be fully charged by car charging?
A: 17 hours @12V, 8.5hours @24V.
-
Q11: Can l use or charge F2400 in sub-zero temperatures?
A: Charge: 0-40℃ (32-104℉);
Discharge: -15-40℃ (-4-104℉);
Storage: -15-40℃ (-4-104℉).
Technically, it can power electrical devices under such situations, but please avoid charging it. -
Q12: How do l know whether my appliance can work with F2400?
A: Calculate the total wattage of your devices. F2400 should work if the load doesn't exceed its rated 2,400W. When the load power exceeds 2,400W, the machine will reduce the voltage to make the load work stably. When the voltage is lower than 78V or total power exceeds 4600W, the machine activates protection and stops working.
-
Q13: How long can it run my device?
A: Working time = F2400's Watt-Hours * 0.85 / operating power of your device.
Example: Let's assume your device's power consumption is 60W (might be a mini cooler)
2048Wh*0.85/60w = Roughly 29 hours of working time
Please note the actual power consumption varies based on many factors.
Please note the actual power consumption varies based on many factors. -
Q14: ls it possible to replace the built-in battery?
A: No. If the battery pack is faulty or even dead, please contact Fossibot Customer Service.
-
Q15: How do I use the F2400 for the first time?
A: When you received the machine, please recharge it to 100% battery. Then each time you use the machine, long press the main power button on top right for 3 seconds to turn on the F2400. When you connect your appliances or devices to the machine, press the related on/off button. If you don't use it, press the on/off button to turn off the AC/DC/USB power, otherwise it will consume the battery.
-
Q16: Why my F2400 turns off automatically?
A: To protect your machine as well as prolong the battery using time, F2400 AC output and DC output ports will be turned off automatically after 8 hours of unuse. USB ports will be turned off after 5 minutes of unuse. When all discharge ports are in turned-off state, the main power button will be turned off after 5 minutes of no operation.
